Trek Geeks #230: Seven of Nine

As we continue our celebration of Star Trek: Voyager’s 25th Anniversary, this week we take a look that a character that came on board almost mid-way through the series but very quickly became nothing short of legendary.

Born Annika Hansen, she was assimilated by the Borg at six years old. Eighteen years later, she would be separated from the Collective and become a valued member of the Starship Voyager’s crew. This week, we look at the character of Seven of Nine!

This was a character that added some new qualities and different relationships for Voyager and, once again, gave us a character struggling with the concept of their own humanity–albeit in a very different way. We’ll discuss why this character has become one we truly love and why we’re very glad her story is far from over!
