Strange New Worlds: Tomorrow's Enterprise

We are coming to you from a year ago... or are you listening to us a year from now? Come along an interstellar journey through a white hole (what is it?) to discover what tomorrow holds! Mike, Craig, Ashley, and Ian are back to discuss Uhura's personal journey throughout this series, and how the black hole/white hole (what is it?) plays a part.

We take a look at the possible future series that we'll never get: Star Trek Year One. Ashley posits that this episode was written specifically as the "back door pilot" to that series, and Mike wonders aloud if anyone really WANTED that series to begin with, considering TOS did all of this first. TOMORROW'S ENTERPRISE is a big episode that carries big ramifications for not only our characters, but for the series and franchise as a whole.

How is canon forever changed? Will Captain Pike still end up with Vina on Talos IV, or will that be changed in favor of Marie Batel and the daughter they (never?) had? Did Strange New Worlds lose it's way while trying to set itself up for what was supposed to come? We explore these questions while discussing a truly enjoyable season finale.
