Nana Visitor

This week on the Trek Geeks Podcast, we're joined by the gracious and delightful Nana Visitor from Star Trek: Deep Space Nine!

Nana played one of Star Trek's strongest and memorable characters--Colonel Kira Nerys of the Bajoran Militia, but is also known for her work on such television shows as Dark Angel, Wildfire, and even Seth MacFarlane's long-running Family Guy.

She joins Bill and Dan for a great discussion on creating the Kira character, women and the Star Trek Universse, how DS9 has held up over time, how a new generation of fans is discovering the series, and even a little Friday the 13th talk!

The Trek Geeks Podcast will return in two weeks with episode 11. Bill thinks he deserves a vacation. For what, we're not exactly sure, but he's taking one, anyway. Must be nice, huh?
