This week, we examine an episode that foreshadows Starfleet's Prime Directive!

"Dear Doctor" was the thirteenth episode of Enterprise (later to be renamed Star Trek: Enterprise) and it presented an interesting dilemma for the Chief Medical Officer and Captain of the NX-01.

It's an episode that presents our characters with changing the evolution of an entire race and the potential ramifications. This is a fantastic episode of Enterprise and we'll tell you why we love it--and why it took us almost 17 years to rewatch it.
