Meanwhile, Leland drops a bombshell on Burnham’s past.  While trying to cope with the details, she and Spock have a tender family moment which may change their relationship forever.

Plus, Hugh Culber is still trying to come to terms with his new life, and looks to Admiral Cornwell to help him try and figure out how to cope with what has happened to him.
