2013 Hallmark Ornaments Arrive This Weekend

Hallmark Cards celebrates 40 years of their Keepsake Ornaments with their Premiere Event at all Hallmark Gold Crown Stores this weekend, July 13-14, 2013.

They are offering many special offers on their line of ornaments and, in addition, Hallmark is also offering a special bonus for their Crown Rewards Members:

Crown Rewards Members:
Receive 200 Bonus Points for every Keepsake Ornament you buy during Ornament Premiere Weekend, July 13 – 14. After that, receive 100 Bonus Points for every Keepsake Ornament you buy the week of July 15 – 21.

Plus, during Ornament Premiere Weekend (July 13 – 14 only), get an extra 1000 Bonus Points when you purchase 10 Keepsake Ornaments and another 1000 when you purchase 15.

The last 20 years have seen multiple Star Trek ornaments offered and this year is no exception.  Hallmark adds three brand new Star Trek ornaments for 2013, all of which I’m sure will be on my Christmas Tree this year.

The first ornament is highlight’s Captain Kirk’s battle against the Gorn as organized by the Metrons in the 1967 Star Trek episode, Arena.

The ornament is battery operated and features sound and music from the episode and is dated for 2013. It retails for $29.95 and can be purchased at your local Hallmark Gold Crown store and on Hallmark.com.

“U.S.S. Kelvin,” designed by Hallmark Keepsake Artist, Lynn Norton

The starship that George Kirk captained for 12 minutes is the third offering from Hallmark this year. Featured in J.J. Abrams’ “Star Trek” from 2009, the Kelvin lights up when you press a button.

The U.S.S. Kelvin is priced at $32.95 and you can pick it up in store or order it on the web.

I have a feeling one or more of these might be added to my tree this year!
