Supplemental #11: Star Trek Discovery Trailer Reaction

FIRST LOOK AT DISCOVERY!

On Wednesday May 17, 2017 CBS Upfronts released the first official trailer for the upcoming CBS All Access Series, Star Trek Discovery.  In this special Supplemental episode, Dan and Bill will break down the 2 minute and 24 second trailer and discuss all the awesome things they saw and speculate on what will be happening in the exciting new series, coming this fall!

It certainly looks like CBS is not pulling any punches with this new series.  Everything from special effects to wardrobe to makeup looks like it is big screen production quality and its easy to see how excited the Trek Geeks are with the trailer!

Did Michael Burnham grow up on Vulcan?  What is her connection to Sarek?  What species is the AWESOME looking Saru (played by Doug Jones)? What can we expect from these new look Klingons?  All these questions and a lot more will be asked and discussed in this special supplemental edition of Trek Geeks!

Supplemental #4: Stump the Geek!

BONK BONK ON THE HEAD

Stump the Geek! It’s been a long time coming, but this day was inevitable.

We’re on our way back to New England from Las Vegas, and we figured what better time to feature the return of listener favorite, “Stump the Geek!”

The rules are simple: Bill has created five trivia questions for Dan to answer and each one is worth a random point value. Dan is not allowed to use any reference material at all–no internet, no books, no notes–nothing! He can only rely on his memory and the information trapped in his wee brain!

If Dan makes it through all five questions, he proceeds to the “Double or Nothing Bonus Round!” Plus, in this special post-Vegas edition, there may be an added level of complexity.

Will Bill stump Dan? Find out in our fourth Supplemental Episode!

FIVE YEAR MISSION!

Five Year MissionIt was so amazing to see Five Year Mission play for five straight days as the house band for Creation’s 2016 Las Vegas Official Star Trek Convention!
